Three interchangeable feeding trays let you tune portion size to your fish, and the extra-large food container can be removed when extended capacity isn&#8217;t needed. A built-in IR light barrier monitors the food chamber and triggers an alert before the feeder runs empty \u2014 combined with the ProfiLux&#8217;s own food-level calculation, you get two independent warnings instead of one.<br \/>\nOperation is virtually silent, the manual feed button is right where you need it, and a multi-color status LED tells you at a glance whether the feeder is ready, feeding, or running low. The universal bracket mounts horizontally or vertically and clamps panels up to 24 mm thick. The unit is powered directly through the ProfiLux control cable \u2014 no batteries, no wall plug, no clutter. With ProfiLux 4(e) and 4.1(e), run up to four feeders independently with separate schedules; with ProfiLux Mini or Light WiFi, one feeder is supported via the optional Mini\/Light Adapter.
