Description
The Basic Housing IL is the foundation of every Industrial Line installation. It provides a protected, IP54-rated environment for your IL slide-in units — shielding them from dust, moisture, and splashes in demanding locations such as fish rooms, aquaculture facilities, or technical areas near aquariums.
The housing offers 39HU of usable interior space, enough for up to three IL devices depending on their height. The hinged lid features a transparent window with a rubber seal, giving you a clear view of displays and status indicators without opening the enclosure. A slideable cover with sealing lips at the bottom provides a clean pass-through for cables and tubes.
IL slide-in units are mounted on the integrated threaded profiles using the screws and washers included with each device. A third threaded profile is included separately for installations that involve a KH Director IL or ION Director IL — it features a cutout that accommodates the Director’s sensor assembly. Unused gaps between devices can be covered with Blanking Panels IL for a finished appearance.
The housing is designed for wall mounting with pre-drilled mounting holes.
