Mitras–Simu stick creates stunning lighting effects in your aquarium or terrarium and is the perfect supplement to your main illumination.

Independently controllable via 4 separate dimmable light colors (neutral white, red, green and blue). You can create a variety of lighting scenarios in your aquarium:

•     Moonlight
•     Sunset and Sunrise
•     Thunderstorm / Lightning

For light dimming and simulations, a suitable control unit (optionally a ProfiLux Controller or ManuDimm) is required.

You can operate the luminaire with or without controller (ProfiLux or ManuDimm).

Without control unit no dimming or simulation is possible. The LED light will illuminate at 100% and can only be switched on or off.

The Mitras–Simu stick should only be used as a supplement to the main lighting of your aquarium or terrarium.

Sophisticated and Elaborate

Premium Waterproof sealed quality LEDs from Samsung (model 5060) and the anodized aluminum body with cooling fins ensure a long service life and maximum luminous efficiency.

The sophisticated design is complemented by the sliding bracket with screw fixtures.

To operate the lamp the Mitras–Simu–Driver is required additionally (not included), which allows you to operate up to 4 effect lamps simultaneously.

If you want to operate more than 4 lights you have the possibility to expand the driver with additional Y–cables (PL-YL2) which are plugged to the respective control unit.

The luminaire is available in two different lengths (550 mm and 950 mm) and is equipped with a 2 m long connection cable for connection to the Mitras–Simu–Driver.

Operation with ProfiLux

Operate Mitras-Simu-Stick comfortably via ProfiLux. This allows you to control the light colors and brightness at all times, as needed.

Thunderstorm simulations are possible if controlled by ProfiLux.

The ProfiLux Computer is connected to the for operation also needed Mitras-Simu-Driver with  included western cables.

Operation without ProfiLux

If you don´t have a ProfiLux Conroller, but still want to realize the lighting effects (without thunderstorm) and the dimming, you need the accessory ManuDimm. That device allows to dim the Mitras-Simu-Stick manually.

For the separate dimming of all lighting channels (white / red / blue / green) are a total of two ManuDimm devices required. They are connected to the yellow inputs (1-10 V interfaces) of Mitras–Simu–Driver.

With Mitras–Simu–Driver up to 4 Mitras-Simu-Sticks can be connected.

There are 2 L-port inputs (= 4 x 1-10 V interface) for connection to a ProfiLux (or other controller) available.

The connected Mitras–Simu–Sticks are dimmed depending on the attached 1-10 V signals.

If the L–ports are left free, all 4 LED channels are operated with 100% – this allows use of Mitras–Simu-Sticks without controller (ProfiLux or ManuDimm). No dimming or thunderstorms are possible then.

A simple shutdown can be achieved via a timer clock.
