ProfiLux in Google Headquarters Switzerland

Google-Lounge powered by ProfiLux and Mitras Lightbars [ezcol_1third] The Google Headquarters Switzerland in Zurich provide their employees a gorgeous relaxation room with 5 large aquariums. We are very proud that Google has chosen our products for the illumination and controlling. Obviously Google didn’t want any compromises in regards to quality and security standards. [/ezcol_1third] [ezcol_2third_end] [/ezcol_2third_end] For the tank illumination the high-power LED-luminaires Mitras Lightbar are used. Mesocosm in Israel Oceanographic and Limnological Research Institute

ProfiLux helps to simulate changes in environmental conditions   [ezcol_1third] The mesocosm is an outdoor facility for benthic research (benthos = biotope in or around seabed). The system offers the control and manipulation of several environmental variables while admitting all natural in situ fluctuations. This is achieved by continuously measuring the relevant variables (e.g. temperature, pH, O2, CO2) in situ, defining these in real time as reference values in the control software and simulating target climates by addition of predefined changes (e.g. “warming”, “acidification”) to the reference values. The delta treatments are achieved by using the ProfiLux feature ‘dynamic value’. They also use a GHL measurement cell in each system, furthermore the monitoring over internet, sms alarming and data logging are used. Breeding Zebra fish in Bar-Ilan University

ProfiLux in Genetics Of Musculoskeletal Disease Lab Zebra fish facility   [ezcol_1half] The Zebra fish is a very important and widely-used vertebrate model organism in scientific research. The main reasons for that are its regenerative abilities, its short life cycle and rapid embryonic development, its transparency and above all this, the fact that its genome has been fully sequenced. [/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end] [/ezcol_1half_end] GHL products are used for controlling water level, pH, conductivity, and temperature. The ‘programmable logic’ is used to obtain steady values of pH and conductivity by controlling the dosing pumps using a combination of timers and sensor readings. Furthermore the Profilux features for automatic water changes, alarms and data logging are in use in this setup.
