The KH Director IL PnP System – Doser 3 SA is a fully pre-configured Industrial Line solution for automated KH measurement and carbonate dosing — designed for professional aquaculture, research, and advanced aquarium installations. Everything is pre-selected, matched, and pre-assembled — no sourcing decisions, no assembly required.
The system combines a KH Director IL and a Doser 3 SA IL in a single IP54-rated Industrial Line enclosure. The KH Director IL continuously measures carbonate hardness and controls KH-boosting liquid dosing via the Doser’s pump channels. The Doser 3 SA acts as the controlling unit, managing the KH Director IL via PAB and providing power to it through the included splitter cable — no separate power supply for the KH Director is required.
The Doser 3 SA IL features GHL’s PrecisionDrive technology — a custom-developed combination of 24V stepper motors and planetary gears, engineered and manufactured in-house — with 4 peristaltic pump channels, 0.1 mL resolution, and up to 250 micro doses per day. WiFi, LAN, and USB connectivity with OTA firmware updates are included. The system can alternatively be managed by a ProfiLux controller (ProfiLux IL, ProfiLux 4, or ProfiLux 4e). In this configuration, the Doser 3 SA IL is switched to EXT mode, allowing the ProfiLux to act as the single master controlling both the KH Director IL and the Doser.
One 24V/2.5A power supply is included — the KH Director IL draws power from the Doser’s supply via its included splitter cable. The GHL Logo Frontpanel IL and blanking panels complete the front of the enclosure. Pre-assembly is included: all units are mounted, PAB cabling is wired, and the logo frontpanel is connected. The power supply is not connected during pre-assembly.
