Update from 07/02/2026
A few weeks ago I shared a first bit of information about the upcoming GHL Connect AI. I really didn’t want to write too many posts about it before it’s actually available — but what my app development team has put together over the last few days has completely blown me away. I just had to share it.
Every screen looks fantastic; it was genuinely hard to pick just a few. Take a look at the latest screenshots below, and you’ll understand why I’m this excited.
In case you missed our first email and are wondering what this is about:
GHL Connect AI is the next generation of the app you already use — for all your GHL devices.
A fresh look & feel — plus different themes
Even more features — building on the app you already know
AI-powered — intelligent features that assist you
More performance — faster and smoother throughout
And the best part: this runs on your existing GHL hardware. No new devices needed — your current setup simply gets better.
AI is optional. The AI features in GHL Connect AI are only there to assist you and make things easier — they never decide anything on their own. And every other improvement — the new look & feel, the added features, the better performance — is there for you whether you use AI or not. As always with GHL, you stay in control: if you’d rather not use it, simply leave it switched off.
One note before you scroll: this is still work in progress. You’ll even see screens where German and English labels sit side by side — we’re building and translating in parallel. That’s the nature of an early look.
These screenshots were taken on a large screen. On a smaller device the responsive app adapts and shows less at once. So for the full detail, view them on a tablet or computer, or turn your phone sideways.
One dashboard for everything: freely arranged tiles pulling live values from all your GHL devices at once.
Per-channel switch states and live current draw — each with its own history.
Your choice of connection: local direct, myGHL cloud, local WebSocket, USB/Serial, or MQTT push.
Live spectral preview and per-channel control across all your lights, with day, dusk, dawn and night scenes.
This is just a first look. Planned for Q4/2026 — we’ll share more as we get closer.
Best regards, Matthias
