Description
The Expansion Box IL is the Industrial Line version of the proven ProfiLux Expansion Box 2 – identical technology in a 15HU aluminum slide-in housing designed for rack and cabinet installations.
It provides the same expansion capabilities as the standard Expansion Box 2: four expansion card slots for ProfiLux Expansion Cards, two universal ports for pH or redox probes, one conductivity port (freshwater/saltwater adjustable), one digital temperature sensor port, four 1-10V interfaces, two level sensor inputs, one Mitras Lightbar interface, and two PAB (ProfiLux Aquatic Bus) ports.
The Expansion Box IL connects to the ProfiLux IL (or any ProfiLux 4/4e) via PAB and is automatically detected by the controller. Multiple Expansion Boxes can be connected to a single ProfiLux, allowing the system to scale with the demands of the installation. Simply insert the desired ProfiLux Expansion Cards into the available slots – the ProfiLux configures them automatically.
An optional GHL Logo Frontpanel IL (5HU) can be connected to the unit’s RGB logo port for visual system status indication.
Note: Power supply (12V) is not included and must be ordered separately. This allows the same unit to be deployed worldwide without country-specific variants.
